Great Bear

The Great Bear is truly an amazing creature in this life and upon this earth. A wide variety of bears walk the globe in many countries, from east to west and north to south. From arctic regions to jungles the bears live as they have for tens of thousands of years.

To humans the bear has always held an air of mysticism and power. Some cultures worshiped them while others feared them. Still today many people around the globe still understand the deeper aspects of the Great Bear and find that balance with scientific research and study. While it is true that we must not allow ourselves to get completely lost in the esoteric and avoid all scientific fact, we must also understand that not everything can be found in science. Many areas of life elude the finest details of scientific study. This is because in the great aspect of existence we in the physical are only a speck within the vastness of non-physical reality. Of course those of you who have taken my Complete Self course or listened to my Complete Self learning cd series understand the depths of what I am referring to.

To any pre-technological peoples who shared their homes with the bear, the majestic animals found a place within their hearts, legends and daily awareness. Even today amongst the sprawl of ‘modern’ civilization and technology the bear holds that beautiful air of awe within many. Walking through deep forests, lumbering across high mountain passes, traveling the deserts and wading through thick steamy jungles the bear remains in the earth’s wilderness as well as our own inner wilderness.

Though there are many species of bears they all hold a similar ‘Medicine’ (spirit energy, frequency). True they each possess a species oriented ‘Medicine’, but as a whole Bear energy is Bear energy. Ancient cultures new very well that humans possess animal energies within them. Aligning with specific animal frequencies, each human has a unique blend of animal frequency. Those with Bear energy feel that deep inner connection to the Bears and the ‘Medicine’ of the Bears helps to guide and teach those who possess Bear Medicine. The sheer ability of strength, the gift of being able to take in a wide variety of energy sources and digest it thoroughly (omnivore) and with its extremely large paws and low center of balance the art of true grounding resonates like the earth itself. Beautiful curiosity, high levels of bravery and the ability to transcend physical form and awareness to wander freely in the vast non-physical reality(realm of spirit)for up to half a year at a time make the Medicine of Bear very attractive.

Autumn is the time of the harvest moon and the Bear. Great Bear wanders the land in a ravenous mode taking full advantage of the bountiful harvest of the earth which will sustain it while its physical body slumbers for many months under the snow and ice. The powers of Bear are peak while the leaves change hue and the air cools dramatically telling the ancient story of changing seasons. Those with Bear Medicine can feel it stirring within and calling them like the olden songs of ancestors whispering their wisdom to our hearts and minds.

    To the ” Modern ” person, if it’s not written down in a book as fact they won’t believe it unfortunately. I really believe what you said at the start, Some things are best unsaid and that’s one of the reasons i tried not too pay attention in Science class last year.

    Well i guess i did listen in Sciense class, But didn’t believe what i was being taught as much as my friends.
