Reiki or Something Else
Reiki

Many people have heard of the word Reiki in the modern world. Some know what it is and many do not. If you search around you can find information that states everything from Reiki being a “gift from God” to being “government programming” or “Illuminati programming”. Some will say that you can only access Reiki if you go through certified Reiki classes taught by Reiki Masters and learn the secret symbols. Well that leaves a pretty big range as to what exactly it is.
Now what I am going to say here will not be liked by some of the Reiki traditionalists and Reiki Groups out there today. Fact is that what I am going to say is the plain truth.
Meechgalanne and Kikey Gawi always said that pure energy of life comes from the universe itself and is there for everyone to use. They had been tapping into the pure universal energy for their entire lives without Reiki training and without secret symbols. I saw them use it many times with great success.
Today the Reiki Teachers will tell you that it is through the secret symbols that Reiki flows into the practitioner. Isn’t it funny though that when you search around, there are so many different versions of the Reiki symbols? Most claim that their Reiki symbols are the original ones from the “Reiki Founder”, Dr. Mikao Usui. How can they all be the originals when typically only 4 or 5 are used? This tells us something. It tells us that the symbols are nothing but a crutch and focus point that truly could have any meaning that does not even align with the pure intent of healing. All symbols mean something as they all align with a specific frequency. Where did all of the so called Reiki symbols come from then? Who really knows…they could be some form of programming or control mechanism to lead people into a false state of truth. They could be there to blind people to the true purity of the universal energy and its availability to everyone.
I have the training of a Reiki Master but I do not use the symbols that I was originally taught. After I began using Reiki some time ago, I realized that the deep feelings and energy that radiated from the symbols were anything but pure. After deep searching I recalled Meechgalanne and Kikey Gawi using universal energy without symbols. So I went back to my teaching with them and how they did what they did surfaced in my memory as clear as mountain streams. They would open themselves to the universal energy by allowing it to flow through their High Spirit Self ( also called Oversoul, High Self, Pure Self) and then down into their physical and energy bodies. This way it was pure, untainted and truth. Nothing imbalanced could interfere or touch this pure energy flow. They knew exactly were it came from and the path it took to reach them.
If we use the taught symbols, who knows exactly where it comes from? Those symbols could channel it from many different, impure places. Those symbols could easily open our minds to create personal interference with a healing or energy sending. This is exactly why I stopped using them. I would notice the interference and every time I would look to the source of this interference I would find those symbols.
Reiki has been around far longer then Dr. Mikao Usui. Pre-technological cultures world wide have been taping into the pure universal energy for thousands of years. It has been called many names. Now Reiki stands for “spiritual guided life force energy”. So call it what you may because the universal energy does not care what you call it. But as most things in the modern world, to be profitable it has been tagged and bagged with the name Reiki. No mater what name it goes by the simplicity of it relies upon three main things.
1- It must be pure universal energy, unhindered and untainted by personal interference.
2- The user must be able to tap into their own personal “core library” of knowledge that has been built over lifetimes of experience. Some call this “Intuition” or the “Inner Knowing”.
3- The user must be able to freely communicate with their High Spirit Self.
That is it. If you can do this then you can access the pure universal energy for yourself without symbols.
Let me be clear in that even though you may be able to do those three things it still takes training from a true Healer to be able to use it wisely and successfully. But if you are a healer of sorts, then by tapping into your core library you could find the means to properly use it, as you would find you have used it in other lives as well… When it comes down to it, it is the intention that truly matters most.
Medicine Blessings,
White Wolf

You are more than welcome to link back to this

It is funny how some folks find certain articles on my site. Not long ago I had a taxi driver who was searching for taxi companies find one of my blogs that had nothing to do with what he was searching. No idea how that worked, but glad you found the site
A wonderful New Year back to you!

I have found that the Reiki, and it’s energy, are primarily for Asian genetics, as is Yoga, Tai chi, etc. There is a reason why East does East, and West does West. For example, we know the species of dog, but there are many different breeds with their individual strengths and weaknesses. The same holds true for humans, which does not imply that one race or culture is superior, just different. E.g. Asian muscles tend not to be as dense and are more flexible than Caucasians, so you can push, poke, rub, and pull on their muscles with success, while in the latter this can irritate and drive muscle spasms deeper. This is what I discovered while researching why everyone seems to be in pain today. Then I figured out how to heal the muscles with energy and a light touch. I wonder if this is meant to weaken Americans?
Secondly, energy need not to come directly from the “pure universal energy.” The Russians are much further ahead of us in energy healing in mainstream medicine, lacking the profit motive due to Socialism. They didn’t threaten doctors and big Pharma with less expensive, and more effective and humane ways to heal people. The point is that most Russians were (Soviets) atheists, but managed to utilize energy quite successfully. Everything comes from the Universal Source anyway and is based in intent.
Although I am a interfaith minster, I primarily help people to heal by simply holding the FEELING of order and balance while I transfer energy , as all disease stems from disorder. In addition, I use the power of emotions and give a specific energy to the cells (e.g., joy, strength, love, patience, goodness, trust, peace), whatever I feel they are lacking, or need to restore balance. When the body is sick, the cells need the direction that the owner is not providing– a good pack leader. I teach that to my clients– how to understand and become aware of their emotions and thoughts. The effectiveness of this healing speaks for itself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sV-CwZ2g3yU (x-rays of a broken bone healed in essentially 48 hours via the phone).
Keep up the great work! I would like to assist you in any way I can…

I always wondered about Reiki. When I had my first Reiki treatment back in the 90′s I was so very surprised during the treatment when I saw a large eye looking at me as I lay on the table with my eyes closed! I sat bolt upright and asked the person giving the session about it. No clue…..

As you talk about symbols in this blog it makes me think to deprogramming symbols Ive seen others teach and Ive even gone and used. However Ive always thought just what your saying. Id like to know where the symbol for such a technique came from. As in who created it, and was its purpose for what its being used for its only real purpose? I guess one has to use their own intuition and judgment when learning and applying teachings from a teacher. Also when using such an archetype, examine their feelings and experiences on the archetype during use. There are certainly some IVe seen widely taught that id like to know thier true origin. Of course all color tone and shape derive from the great spirit/the realm of spirit, but I mean the archetypes conceivement here by the original teacher.

Everything holds energy and we must question, question, question. Yes everything is of the Great Spirit, but that does not mean everything is beneficial. All good comes from the source of life just as all evil and all neutrality…

Thank you for this article. This is the first time I’ve seen anyone tell the truth about Reiki.

You are quite welcome. You are correct, very few speak the truth on such topics. Though I find many people understand it.

I agree that the Reiki symbols are not necessary for access to healing power of The Universal Life Force Energy and the “traditionalists” have always bothered me. It felt too much like organized religion which is something I had already extracted myself from. Regardless of that, Reiki introduced me to Energy Healing and saved me from my destructive self. Great blessings have come to me by way of this healing modality. It was a big part of my spiritual awakening….. one of my first steps on this fabulous spiritual journey. It (the energy work) is an essential in everything I do but rarely do I use the symbols anymore and since I quit calling the symbols I’ve not been able to teach about them either. I have had difficulty recently with calling myself a Reiki Practitioner and my practice is not all I want it to be. I seem to prefer other terminology lately. I use Energy Worker, or I say I do Vibrational Healing or Touch Healing…. I’m beginning to understand why this is happening. I asked my Higher Self to help me de-progam myself.
So do you think that Reiki was invented by “them” or was it another case of them co-opting something that was given to us as a gift from Creator?
Thanks for this insight White Wolf. You have helped me identify a stumbling block that needs to be removed. I can feel the energy moving more freely already.

Thank you for sharing. “Reiki” as it is known today is heavily based in programming. However, the pure untainted energy that can be used in energy work is just that- pure and untainted. When you try to place it into the context of a “found” or “rediscovered” healing practice that is based upon rules, secret symbols, etc the energy is no longer pure and instead laced with whatever programming the practitioners have. It can quickly turn cult like.
Happy to help

Wow!
Also, as a Reiki Master, I dispensed with the symbols, too,
when Stewart Swerdlow clarified the subject of Reiki a few years ago —–
and proceeded with the energy flow for pure healing from God. but your article just now relieved my mind !!!! I thank you for your understanding shared , White Wolf, as always.

A few weeks ago, after your interview with Randy Maugans, I was visiting your website and found this article…
I also have had all the reiki initiations. I worked with it very successfully…and even initiated other people. Through the healing (a myself call it transformations) I was able to get a much more connection with my Higher Self and “my students” also…Thus so far so good.
What you write about the cult like and the symbols I must agree…And the “battle” about how and which initiation and which symbols to use brrrrr…( I’m now a little ashamed that I was also taking part in that)
I even came across a “reiki master” who told me and others that only her initiations were “the only and pure ones” (and i believed hereL ) It cost me lots of money…tears and heartache when I discovered who she really was.
BUT…and now comes the good stuff
…About two years ago I stopped with reiki due to personal things and all my experiences with the reiki community. I stopped with practicing reiki and giving workshops.
One fine day I was guided to a new chapel in Belgium. Where the old lady who build that gave me an old prayer in Sanskrit…the very first time a used it a Big White Spiral cleared my whole body(s) and deleted all initiations…During 2010-2011 I received several transformations and initiations directly from Source.
My bond with my Guide and Angels was getting stronger every day…With some ups and downs but hey that’s live.
This year my Higher Self showed me how to connect with Source and showed me to heal that way…Your article confirmed that and gave me a nudge in the right way…and take the next step
To heal that way…and its definitely working…
Soooo…I can fully confirm your Knowing…We all can connect DIRECTLY to Source and heal…
Thank you very much Dear Brother.
Blessings from across the Big Waters for you and your family,
Marthe

hi white wolf
A very good friend of mine has just opened a healing studio …she is actualizing her dream and has put alot of work into this…last year she got involved with Intergrated Energy Technique known as IET…communicating with your angels, deprogramming …activating your 12 strand DNA..she feels this has helped her alot and has encouraged me to look into it…Wel you know my question …is it authentic or more illuminati influence? I am attracted to this to augment my own healing work.
blessings to you WhiteWolf…ive been spreading your chakra clearing technique….inanna

Hello Inanna,
Any and all modalities of self awareness and self healing have the potential to be beneficial or non-beneficial. I urge people to look not only at the modality and where it comes from, what is is all about and what are the actual core principles, but also the practitioner. The practitioner, who they are, where they comes from, what their experience sets and levels actually are, as well as their truthful foundation for doing what they do are almost more important than the actual modality they present. So study both before you decide…

I could not agree more with White Wolf to both (1) LOOK at the practitioner who they are, where they come from, and what their experiences sets and levels actually are- as well as the VERACITY of the foundation for what they do- and, (2) EXAMINE the actual modality they present. I engaged in SELF-REIKI several times a day for months to successfully become restored to health from Lyme Disease and —— also AGREE with the PURITY and INTENTION when seeking to do HEALING WORK on self and others. Yes. I went through all the Reiki Training to become the Reiki Master / Teacher. But the daunting TASK ALWAYS is to be responsible and clear and pure – as so healing is from GOD / OVERSOUL , not tainted with my energies or the impurity of symbols that are programmed .

Hello White Wolf,
I have an opportunity to take Reiki lvl1 certification class but now that I’ve read about the impurity of it’s symbols I’m confused as to what to do now. I am very interested in healing as a profession. I feel healing myself, others, and animals could be an unfound passion of mine but I’m not completely sure yet.
I’m thinking of taking the class and just not using the symbols when I practice. I’d love to read any advice you could give me.
Thank you.

I work with a number of high class energy workers (alternative healers) and none of them use secret symbols or other mysterious practices. They have learned how to access pure energy through the use of their own minds and their connections to the highest aspects of themselves and that of their clients. The purest connection and energy source we can access for healing purposes is through our connection to what my Teacher called the Manetuwak. Today it is called by other names such as Oversoul, Complete Self, Higher Self, etc.
Reiki itself has been unfortunately highly twisted from its original intent and I find very few people who actually understand this. I do not trust it and avoid the practice. I’ve found many other modalities of alternative healing that work much better. Of course this is simply my opinion from my own experiences.
If you do pursue healing as a life path I do wish you all the best
